Who we are
Alchemise Capital Ltd ("we", "us") is the data controller for personal data described in this notice. We are registered in England and Wales, company number 14042319, with our registered office at 740 Waterside Drive, Aztec West, Bristol BS32 4UF.

What we collect
We only hold personal data that you choose to give us. Depending on how you contact us, that may include:
- your name, job title and the company you represent;
- your email address and telephone number;
- information you tell us about a business, including its sector, size and circumstances; and
- the content of our correspondence and notes of our conversations.
We do not ask for special category data, and you should not send it to us. Please do not send commercially sensitive information before a confidentiality agreement is in place.
How the enquiry form works
The enquiry form on this website does not transmit or store anything on this site. When you submit it, the details you entered are assembled into a message in your own email application, which you then choose to send. That means your information reaches us the same way any ordinary email would, and no copy is retained by this website.
Why we use it, and our lawful basis
- To respond to your enquiry and explore a possible transaction. Lawful basis: legitimate interests — we cannot assess or progress an acquisition opportunity without corresponding with the people involved. Where you tick the consent box on our form, we also rely on your consent to contact you about that enquiry.
- To conduct due diligence and negotiate and complete a transaction. Lawful basis: legitimate interests, and performance of a contract where one is entered into.
- To comply with legal and regulatory obligations, including company law, tax, anti-money-laundering and record-keeping requirements. Lawful basis: legal obligation.
Where we rely on legitimate interests, we have considered the impact on you and are satisfied that using your business contact details for these purposes is proportionate and would be expected. You can object at any time — see "Your rights" below.
We do not send marketing
We do not operate a marketing mailing list and we do not add enquirers to one. If we contact you it will be about a specific opportunity or a conversation already under way.
Who we share it with
We do not sell personal data. We may share it with:
- professional advisers instructed on a transaction — legal, financial, tax and commercial diligence providers — where relevant to that transaction;
- service providers who host our systems or email on our behalf, acting on our instructions under written terms; and
- regulators, HMRC, or other authorities where we are legally required to do so.
We treat information about a possible sale as confidential. We will not approach your employees, clients or competitors, or disclose that your business is being discussed, without your explicit permission.
Where your data is held
Our systems and email are provided by suppliers who may process data outside the United Kingdom. Where that happens, we rely on the UK's adequacy regulations or on the International Data Transfer Agreement or Addendum, so that your data continues to receive an equivalent standard of protection.
How long we keep it
- Enquiries that do not proceed: normally deleted within 24 months of our last contact, unless you ask us to keep them on file so we can reconnect later.
- Transactions that proceed: retained for the period required by the transaction documents and by law — generally at least seven years from completion, and longer where warranty or indemnity periods require it.
Cookies and analytics
This website sets no cookies, uses no analytics or tracking, and builds no profile of you. It loads a web font from Google Fonts, which means your browser makes a request to Google's servers and your IP address is visible to Google in the course of serving that file.
If you later add analytics, advertising pixels, or an embedded form service to this site, you will need a cookie banner and this section must be rewritten to reflect it.
Your rights
Under UK data protection law you have the right to:
- ask for a copy of the personal data we hold about you;
- have inaccurate data corrected;
- ask us to delete data where we no longer have a good reason to hold it;
- ask us to restrict how we use it, or object to our use of it;
- ask us to transfer it to you or another provider, where that right applies; and
- withdraw consent at any time, where we relied on consent.

If you are unhappy with how we have handled your data you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk, or by calling 0303 123 1113. We would prefer the chance to put it right first.
Changes to this notice
We will update this page if our practices change, and will amend the date at the top accordingly.
